Rev. Stephen Na has been serving as the English Pastor at the Community Church of Great Neck since November 2010. He was born in Inchon, South Korea and immigrated to the United States at the age of seven. After college, he received a calling to Gospel ministry. Stephen attended the Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Subsequently, he served as a college pastor in Amherst, MA and as senior pastor at the Open Door Community Church in Atlanta, GA and the Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Lansdale, PA. His vision is to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Great Neck and Long Island. Stephen is married to Hyun Soo and they have two girls: Georgia and Charlotte.
Rev. Steven Chen joined the Community Church of Great Neck in 2012 as the pastor of the Chinese congregation. He was born into a Christian family in Guangdong, China and began following Jesus while studying medicine. After medical school, Steven worked as a physician and served at a local church in China, which led him to pursue a Master of Divinity degree from the International Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology degree from Logos Theological Seminary. Steven was ordained in April 2015. His vision is to see more people come to God’s kingdom and grow in Jesus for the glory of our Father. Steven is married to Wendy Liu and they have a son, Enoch, and a daughter, Jenny.
Binu Thomas has been serving as the Youth Minister at the Community Church of Great Neck since January 2011. He was born in India and moved to New York at the age of seven. Binu graduated from SUNY Stony Brook University in 2000 and worked as a Systems Analyst for eight years. In 2008, Binu followed God’s call into full-time youth ministry and served as the Director of Campus Life and Core Ministries for Long Island Youth For Christ, prior to CCGN. He received his Master of Arts degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently a student at Fuller Theological Seminary. Binu is married to Nisha and together they have three children: Evelyn, Hannah, and Andrew.
Mark Lin joined the Community Church of Great Neck staff in 2013 serving as Director of Children’s and International Student Ministries. Mark was born and raised in New York City; his parents were originally from Taiwan. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and later on, attended Wheaton College where he received a Master of Arts degree in Intercultural Studies with an emphasis in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Mark met Perri, his wife, at CCGN and they married in the summer of 2014. Together, they are passionate about helping students of all ages and cultures to know and love Jesus with all their hearts.
